Designed to conquer off-road terrains, Land Rover Discovery Sport models from 2018 and onward come standard with several features to keep drivers and passengers safe, including:

The Land Rover Discovery Sport offers consumers a nice lineup of standard tech features. Even older models from 2016 come standard with a 10-speaker audio system, an 8-inch touchscreen display, as well as InControl Remote, which locks and unlocks doors and remotely starts the vehicle using your smartphone. Newer models are available with more robust features, such as:

In its base configuration, the Land Rover Discovery Sport offers comfortable seating for up to five passengers, and unlike rivals in its class, an available third-row seat increases the capacity to seven. While the airy cabin provides an abundance of leg and headroom for first and second-row passengers, some drivers have noted that the additional third row can feel a bit cramped, but the huge cargo space more than makes up for it: The Land Rover Discovery Sport offers 34.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second-row seats and up to 62.8 cubic feet when all rear seats are lowered—the largest figures among all luxury midsize SUVs.

Despite its spacious interior, luxurious lineup of tech features and generous cargo capacity, some drivers claim that the vehicle's driving performance is underwhelming compared to its competitors. Still, the 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport comes standard with a 240-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine to make for easy highway driving and relatively quick acceleration. While the vehicle's turbocharger and nine-speed automatic transmission can create some engine lag, its standard four-wheel drive and Terrain Response System make the Land Rover Discovery Sport hard to match in terms of off-road prowess, outperforming almost every other vehicle in its class.
