The Maserati Levante is a high-performance luxury midsize SUV and has been available to North American drivers since 2017. It comes with a choice of robust engine options, yet promises drivers a pleasant ride. Fit for five passengers, the Maserati Levante manages to combine sporty performance with family-oriented comfort. While long road trips may present a challenge due to its lower-than-average fuel economy and limited cargo space, the Maserati Levante lives up to the brand's reputation by delivering on engine power. Maserati Levante Safety
The 2017-2019 Maserati Levante models have a few safety recalls, so if you're looking for a used or certified pre-owned vehicle, be sure these issues have been addressed. Since 2017, a rearview camera comes standard, but things like blind-spot monitoring and lane-departure warning (to warn drivers when they're veering out of their lane) are optional. Traffic sign recognition and lane-keeping assist became available in 2018. In 2019, blind-spot monitoring and parking sensors became standard.
Maserati Levante Interior
The Maserati Levante seats five. Heated front seats are standard, and they give the driver and front passenger 12 power adjustment options. Heated rear seats and a heated steering wheel are also available. The 2017 Maserati Levante features cabin materials such as a leather interior and wood trim. While the 2018–20 models are elegantly styled, some drivers feel that other luxury SUVs in its class are more lavish. In 2019, the Maserati Levante Trofeo trim was introduced, which features upgraded leather seats with sporty contrasting stitching.
Maserati Levante Technology
This luxury SUV does not disappoint on available technology and in-car entertainment features. Right out of the gate, the 2017 model came standard with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Bluetooth is built-in, allowing drivers to easily connect their phones wirelessly to the eight-speaker audio system. Drivers can also upgrade their sound system to Harmon Kardon speakers. Aside from in-car entertainment, other luxury technology features include a navigation system and a proximity key.
Maserati Levante Space
The front-row seats of the Maserati Levante are plush, comfortable and offer ample headroom and legroom for passengers of all sizes. The rear seats are also comfortable and spacious, but taller passengers might feel cramped on longer rides. Packing light is recommended for long road trips, as the cabin area does not offer much room for luggage. This model does not have an available third row of seating unlike many other SUVs in its class, but the wide rear doors make getting in and out easy.
Maserati Levante Comfort
The Maserati Levante could be classified as a sports car, considering its Ferrari-sourced engine lineup that was first introduced in 2019. Comfort, agility and composure define the experience of this luxury SUV.
