RAM 2500 Safety

There are plenty of available safety features on the Ram 2500, especially in more recent models from 2018. These include:

• Anti-lock braking system (ABS) to keep wheels from skidding due to locking
• Multi-stage front airbags, which sense and respond to the severity of the collision
• Supplemental front-seat mounted and side-curtain airbags, which offer additional protection to drivers and passengers
• Electronic stability control and traction control, which prevents skidding or loss of control due to over-steering
• Tire pressure display to help you maximize traction and stability 
• Park assist to help with backing into tight spots

RAM 2500 Interior

The Ram 2500 is committed to durability, but that doesn't mean it sacrifices interior appeal. Seating is attractive at all trim levels, with leather upholstery available for those seeking extra luxury.

2013 models and onwards gained a full colour, 7-inch instrument cluster, making it easy to stay on top of your speed, performance and fuel consumption without having to take your eyes off the road. 

RAM 2500 Technology

Tech enthusiasts won’t be disappointed by the Ram 2500, as a full-featured Technology Package is available on models from 2018. This package includes: 

• Rear camera
• High-mount stop lamp equipped with a camera so that you can monitor the contents of your truck bed while on the road
• 4G LTE mobile hotspot
• Apple and Android integration
• Five USB ports
• Up to three 115-volt outlets, capable of handling up to 400 watts to charge or run power tools and other electronics
• Bluetooth connectivity 
• Available 12-inch infotainment and navigation screen, the largest available in its class

Optional on higher trim levels from 2010 models and onwards include Bluetooth connectivity, satellite radio, a sunroof, remote start and a navigation system.

RAM 2500 Space

The amount of interior space depends on the trim level selected. The Regular cab across all model years offers seating for two, with generous legroom and interior cargo space available. You can even find an in-floor storage in models from 2015.

Crew and Mega cab trim levels have second-row seating and can fit up to six adults. You can pick between an 8-foot box or a 6-foot, 4-inch box depending on your hauling needs. While some drivers find that parking is difficult due to the truck’s size, most consider this a fair compromise given the amount of interior cabin and cargo space. 

RAM 2500 Comfort

A multilink coil spring rear suspension reduces friction and increases handling. Available leather seats are durable, easy to clean and soft to the touch. As a result, your ride remains comfortable even when off-road. Passengers can expect a bit of jostling, but not nearly as much as with other trucks in its class.
