With standard models of the Toyota Sienna, you can expect useful safety features like the following:

While there’s certainly a lot of space in the Sienna, the overall design of the interior can feel a little minimal when compared to similar vehicles. However, the functionality and practical layout means controls are easy to reach and simple to use. Second-row seats are removable, though they are heavy and can be hard to move. Third-row seats fold down too, which means the vehicle can be turned into a full-size cargo van if you’ve got a big move ahead.

The real tech toys start with second-generation Siennas: Depending on the trim, perks range from HID Xenon headlamps to solar energy-absorbing glass to a thumping 10-speaker sound system. 2018 and 2019 models include Apple CarPlay connectivity and a 16.4-inch rear seat entertainment system for keeping passengers happy on long journeys. If you opt for a trim with the EnTune platform, you can sync your smartphone to receive roadside assistance, collision notifications and fuel updates in and out of the vehicle.

The Sienna can seat up to eight passengers, and there’s plenty of room for each whether you’re up front with the driver or tucked away in the third row. On top of ample legroom, you’ll find plenty of general storage space conveniently nestled between the seats.

Toyota Sienna Comfort

The first and second-row seats have supportive headrests, a must for long trips. The third-row seats are a little less luxurious with smaller headrests, making them ideal for kids. Driving-wise, handling can be a bit lacking, and the limited engine size (with no upgrade options) means that power and speed are just average. That said, the all-wheel drive, available only with the Sienna, makes up for these potential downsides for most drivers. The Sienna is also very quiet on the road, so you get a peaceful, smooth ride.
