The Tesla Model-X was revealed in 2012 with customer deliveries beginning in 2015. The Model-X is the first all-electric SUV and remains one of the only EVs with seating for seven passengers. The Tesla Model-X was the company's third model and received a refresh in 2021 with an updated interior. Tesla Model-X performance has increased incrementally with each model year, while Tesla has introduced and removed a number of trims with batteries ranging from 75 to 100 kWh. There are currently two versions of the Model-X on sale: The Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive has an estimated range of 560 km, while the performance-oriented Tri-Motor Model-X Plaid has a range of 340 miles and a 0-60 mph time of just 2.5 seconds. Both vehicles are limited to 240 km/h, though with optional wheels, they can hit 249 and 262 km/h respectively.
