The Audi A8 is a full-size sedan that serves as the brand's technical flagship, debuting features that eventually make their way into other Audi vehicles. The first-generation Audi A8 was first shown to the world in 1994 with a revolutionary aluminum monocoque chassis, saving weight while maintaining strength. The first Audi A8 was powered by a 3.7-litre V8 engine, and a 4.2-litre version with Quattro all-wheel drive system soon followed. Third and fourth generations
