The Volkswagen Atlas made its debut in 2017 as a mid-size crossover SUV available in front- and all-wheel drive configurations. The Atlas is powered by a selection of 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinders with a 3.6-litre VR6 engine available as an optional extra. Transmission options include an 8-speed automatic or a 7-speed DSG gearbox. Technology and Atlas Cross Sport

Volkswagen launched the Atlas Cross Sport in 2020 with a sportier profile thanks to its lower roof angle, powered by the same range of turbocharged 4-cylinders as the three-row Atlas with the VR6 again available as an upgrade. The Volkswagen Atlas received a facelift in 2020 with sharper front-end styling taken from the Atlas Cross Sport as well as updated wheels, rear lights and steering wheel.
