Kia history and evolution
First founded in South Korea in 1944, it took 30 years for Kia to build their first car, the Kia Brisa. Along the way, they produced the first Korean-made bicycle in 1957 and the first Korean motorcycle in 1961. Shortly after getting into car manufacturing, the company began forming partnerships with major companies like Ford and Mazda.
